Working with us

If we're going to raise standards in writing, we need to do it properly. We don't drop a resource in your school, without the tools to understand it. From the beginning, our work is based on a clear plan and understanding, so that all staff become confident teachers of writing in your school, and you can raise standards.

Initial support

Before we begin training, we will come into the school to see your books and understand where you are as a school. Using this, we will devise a training strategy that is bespoke to your school.

Training

Our training covers the principles of a strong literacy journey, the meaning of grammatical terms, and how to assess accurately (and it's more fun than you'd think).

Teaching and assessment

Teachers plan a structured writing journey using the Write Path placemats, and assess accurately so you can track progress and identify areas for improvement.
